• Points tested stream
• New Zealand stream

• stay in Australia permanently
• live, work and study anywhere in Australia
• enrol in Australia’s public health care scheme (Medicare)
• sponsor your eligible relatives for permanent residence
• if eligible, become an Australian citizen

Eligibility

For the points tested stream, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Have a suitable skills assessment
• Be invited to apply for this visa
• Score 65 points or more for your EOI
• Be under 45 years of age
• Meet the English language requirement
• Other requirements

For New Zealand stream, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Satisfy the income requirement
• Hold an eligible visa
• Have been usually resident in Australia for a continuous period of 5 years
